Do I have to be home for delivery?
Yes - We need someone to sign and collect the order, but if you are at work between 9–12 we can deliver to your workplace.
Is there a minimum order to buy online?
There is no minimum order, however, a $10 delivery charge does apply on orders under $100.

Is your beef and lamb Grass fed?
Yes, all our beef and lamb is grass fed and grass finished we source our beef and lamb from Tasmania, we choose Tasmania as tasmania is the only state in Australia that outlaws the use of hgp and gmo in their feed.
Can our steaks be cut thicker or thinner?
A HUGE YES, that is the advantage of buying from us we have experienced butchers on duty all the time to cut exactly what you require.
Are you open on Public Holidays?
No sorry, we do not open on any Public Holidays

Can I buy online and collect from in-store?

Is it safe to buy online?
Over 60 percent of Australians now buy online. When you buy online you should ensure you deal with a supplier you can trust and who offers a secure payment platform.  We use PayPal’s secure payment gateway.  Please note we will never ask you to supply your credit card details via Email. If you believe we are asking for your credit card details please contact the store directly.
What is your returns policy?
If the product is unsatisfactory, please ring with your complaint and return is required within 24 hrs

Are your sausages gluten free?
Yes, all of our sausage are gluten free you can also check with our butchers for any other allergens you may have.
Are your hams and bacon cooked on the premises?
Yes, we cook and cure all our hams and bacon the old fashioned way using only the finest ingredients.
Can We Get Our Meat Cryvaced?
  • Yes we offer this free of charge
  • Place your order and we can pack your meat order in meal portions
  • We also flat pack your meat so it doesn’t take up much room in your esky
How Do I Get The Perfect Pork Crackling?
  1. Dry the skin with paper towel
  2. Rub with olive oil and salt
  3. Preheat oven to 230°c
  4. Cook roast for 30 mins @ 230°c
  5. Turn down to 180°c and cook for 30 mins per 500 grams

Do you sell free-range meats?
Our products included grass fed and grass finished products as well as grain fed, our chickens are free range but not organic, Tasmanian lamb, local free range organic eggs Murray Valley Pork, sow stall free which means pregnant sows are housed in groups, not in stalls.
How Do I Cook The Perfect Steak?
  1. Remove steak from fridge 10mins before cooking.
  2. Ensure pan, bbq or grill is hot and brush steak lightly with oil.
  3. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
  4. Cook for 3 1/2 mins per side for medium rare.
  5. Rest steak for 4 mins after cooking.

What Is Dry Aged Beef?
Dry aging is a traditional method of creating exceptionally tender meat. The method uses the meats natural enzymes along with the passage of time to slowly break down the meats fibres to enhance the flavour and tenderness.
